Gods unchained

Alternative names: Gods unchained

Gods Unchained is a blockchain game in the style of a collection-card strategy. Each match is a 1 on 1 battle against another player (or computer). The goal of the game is the life of the enemy to zero. They will be able to play at the beginning of each match. Decks contain exactly 30 cards. You can play Gods Unchained for free with a regular non-tradable cardboard set, as well as access to a weekly free rotation. Playing the game, the cards are not lost.

Types of cards. In the game, each player takes turns in turns, first obtaining mana and drawing cards, and then using this mana to play them. Cards are of different types:

  • creatures
  • spells
  • weapon
  • special cards of God

Players also have access to divine power, used once per turn, except ultimatum skills that can only be used once per game.

Usage of cards. In the upper left corner of each card, its mana cost is indicated. If the card is a creature, there will be yellow and green gems (circles) in the lower corners. The number on the yellow gem is the Attack, which shows what damage the creature does when it attacks. The number on the green gem indicates the creature's health. It means how much damage it can take before it is destroyed and falls into the Void. Most creatures also have a description that defines the special rules associated with this card.

Spells and weapons. Cards that do not have yellow or green stones are spells or weapons. When a spell is cast, its effect is activated immediately. Weapons are equipped with your God when the card is played. They allow your god to attack, dealing damage from an attack, until the strength of the weapon is zero and breaks.

Abilities of the Gods. At the beginning of the game in Gods Unchained, each player has a choice of God Powers. Each God has three permanent and one Higher Power to choose from. Ultimate power is a one-time ability with powerful effect. These abilities help players to be more flexible when building a deck. Choosing abilities increases the depth of strategy for each deck. For example. When you play a magic deck with a combo focus, you can choose a defensive strategy and the Power of God if you play against the Military deck. Alternatively, if you want to meet an opponent of Death, you can move on to a more aggressive style of play. You can create a deck of control, but it will be slow, in contrast to the aggressive deck. Your opponents may choose the wrong Power of God for a match, which will give you an advantage. As they say, nobody canceled the mind games.

Void. In Gods Unchained, when a creature dies, it moves into the Void. This applies to both tokens and realms that you refuse. The only exception is “Destroyed” creatures. When a creature is destroyed, its soul is destroyed and the creature is removed from the game. This is important to consider when encountering some decks that use creatures in the Void to their advantage. Cards such as "Half-Life" and "The Gatekeeper" allow creatures to switch back from Void to the game and thereby confuse opponents plans.
