The combat field is generated randomly every time. You can use obstacles when planning your strategy for the current battle. Sometimes there are useful items on the field that you can use to your advantage. For example, to undermine a barrel of gunpowder in a timely manner or to force the enemy to approach a predatory plant that attacks everything in its reach.
