Songs of Conquest is a turn-based strategy that will definitely please all fans of this genre. The game has classic style graphics, which gives it the charm of the times when the third heroes were one of the most popular games. This project is in many ways similar to the mentioned game and other games in the line. At the same time, the game is in many ways superior to its predecessors.

Before playing Songs of Conquest, choose the faction that you like. There are four factions in the game.

• Arleon people with knights and cavalry, but there are also unusual units in this faction, namely fairies and forest spirits.
• Rana swamp dwellers fighting for independence against their oppressors. As you might guess, these are intelligent frogs, turtles and even dragons.
• Lot necromancers, scientists and cultists.
• Barium mercenaries from the desert regions.

A story campaign is also available for each faction.

The choice of faction should be taken carefully, because during the game it will not be possible to change it, and unlike other similar games, here you will not be able to assemble an army, which will include units of various factions. You can only plunder the dwellings of creatures of other factions, but you will not be able to hire warriors. The situation is similar with enemy castles. After capturing the city, you have two options, burn it and then rebuild or lure the inhabitants to your side. In the latter case, the barracks will partially work for you, but you can only hire soldiers of your faction in them. This is not the most convenient option, since the constant presence of the hero in the city is often needed to maintain order. If we are talking about a large city, then there is a third option - occupation. In the case of large cities, this option is the only one. Troops in the city cannot be hired, but you will receive the resources that such a settlement provides.

Cities can be developed by raising the level of buildings and expanding for more profit and more units in your squad.

Replenishment of armies in the game occurs daily, not weekly. Therefore, it is worth specifying the collection point so as not to visit all the barracks every day.

Combat mode is traditional, but not without differences. The field is divided by a grid of hexagonal cells. It may have obstacles. But there is also an innovation in the form of hills. Having occupied a hill, a melee unit receives a bonus to its characteristics, and long-range units increase their attack radius. Before the battle, you can place units in your half of the field, depending on your preferences. The number of units depends on the developed leadership of the hero.

When leveling up, the hero improves one of the skills in his arsenal or can learn a new one. Every eight levels, you can choose a special more powerful skill.

Each hero has inventory slots for camping equipment, amulets or weapons. By equipping it properly, you can increase the range of movement around the map or increase the parameters of defense or attack during the battle.
