The Riftbreaker

The Riftbreaker is a multi-genre game. This is an RPG, city building and survival simulator, as well as tower defense. The graphics in the game are excellent, but it does not require extreme power of the equipment and has quite flexible settings. The music is pleasant, unobtrusive.

The game begins with the fact that the main character of the game, the girl Ashley, dressed in a robotic space suit, is thrown onto a planet called Galatea 37.

Your task is to help her survive, create a bi-directional stable portal to the earth along the way to prepare the planet for colonization.

There are four difficulty levels in the game. On the easiest one, you won't have to strain too much, but the most difficult one turns an already not very friendly planet into a real hell.

Once you start playing The Riftbreaker, you need to choose the right place for the main headquarters. It is better that it be an open space near sources of resources. After the headquarters is built, take care of the energy supply. To do this, build power plants. These can be wind farms that do not require resources, but they do not produce much energy, or stations that use carbonium ore to generate energy. The second method gives more energy, but the ore may soon run out.

After that, you need to create an arsenal and defensive structures that will not allow hordes of hostile local fauna to destroy the erected buildings at night. Towers with turrets and strong walls are best for base defense, and if this turns out to be not enough, you will have to manually exterminate enemies.

Your robot suit is equipped with several weapons for both close combat and ranged attacks. Weapons are divided into several types and subspecies.

Part of the arsenal is available immediately, the rest can be created from blueprints. Researching destroyed enemies will help you create new types of weapons.

After you finish exploring the territory, teleport to another continent. The strength and aggression of the local flora and fauna will increase as you move into new territories. Enemies will become stronger and larger, so there will be no time to rest.

The game has a plot. You won't have to puzzle over what to do, as you complete tasks you will receive new ones.

Actions occur cyclically, during the day you scout the territory, collect resources, clear the building area along the way, cracking down on the discovered living creatures trying to interfere with you. At night, focus on defense while fighting off waves of attackers.
