Battles take place in real time, you specify targets for your units and they enter the battle. Apply different tactics on the battlefield, attack from different sides, the sequence of use of different combat units. This can completely change the outcome of a battle.
Not all conflicts are resolved on the battlefield. Diplomacy is sometimes more effective and allows you to turn an enemy into an ally.
The greater the number of your troops, the more resources you need. Capture new lands to provide the army with provisions.
The campaign is a more advanced tutorial before you can move on to online games. Play with up to eight real players. It can be your friends or randomly selected people. You can fight among yourself or make an alliance to wage war against the AI.
Each player can adjust the difficulty mode so that it is interesting to play. Play on easy medium or even extreme hard mode where the game gets the most realism, but it won't be easy to win either.
