When you travel back in time, you grabbed the guard of one of the locks. They locked you inside, where you will sit until their Lord did not come home and does not solve your fate. Most likely, you will be executed for witchcraft and such a prospect you do not really like. The guards locked you, but you can safely move on the grounds of the castle.
