Disciples: Liberation is not an ordinary game for this series. It is better to perceive it as a separate product, then it will seem quite interesting and addictive. Those who were waiting in this game for the continuation of the line in the same style may be a little disappointed. This is the same fantasy world so beloved by many, which we will explore as we go. The game has an interesting storyline, but there are changes and here you can’t choose a character at the beginning of the game, as in the previous parts. Nevertheless, the story campaign is interesting, the main character is quite charismatic and her fate will not leave the player indifferent. What has changed the most is the gameplay. Moving around the field is now more reminiscent of RPG games, but the combat system has remained turn-based. Apparently the developers decided that such an unusual combination might appeal to players.
Fortunately, they did not forget about the development of the castle, but they simplified this process a little. However, there are enough buildings in the castle, each of which can be improved and thus choose the path of development. At the initial stage of the game, we do not have the opportunity to choose the class of the main character, but later, upon reaching a certain progress in the storyline, such an opportunity will be.

- Hexblade's strengths are melee and magic skills.
- The seer can attack from a distance and heal allies.
- The Witch, like the Seer, can attack from a distance, but instead of healing friendly units, she can send damage, weakening enemies with this.

There are no restrictions on which allies to use in the game. Combine them to your liking.
Allies are divided into elite and ordinary. You can control the elite ones during the battle, the ordinary ones perform a given function (for example, they attack a random enemy once per turn or strengthen a random ally). To win or lose, you need to destroy the elite enemies or lose all the elite allies. Normal enemies, like allies, cannot be attacked.
The level of any of your fighters cannot exceed the level of Avianna. The development of the heroine is quite diverse and makes it possible to make a choice of what to develop. Allies with increasing levels only improve performance. The number of allies that accompany the main character depends on her leadership skill. It is worth paying attention to the development of this skill.
The position of the allies before the battle plays an important role. The battlefield is divided into cells. In addition, in various locations there may be obstacles, or cells that have some effects that can be used to your advantage. Learn how to build an attack and defense strategy. You will be able to arm the main character and elite allies with weapons of the appropriate class. Items found during the passage of the game and exploration of the world can be used or sprayed if you do not need them. When spraying, you get the necessary resources.
