Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance reissue of an old console game. In general, this is not quite a reissue, the game was recreated anew on a new engine with new textures. From the original, they left the visual design of the characters with minimal differences, music and voice acting, which was performed at one time by professional actors. Naturally, the plot remained unchanged.

Before starting the game, you must choose a character from the three available.

• Human Archer
• Dwarf Fighter
• Elf Mage

The developers did not think over the balance system a bit, because the fighter turned out to be the strongest unit, and the weakest Elf with magical abilities. She has many strong attack options at later levels, but they made her very fragile. You will have to constantly move to avoid damage, and even this does not guarantee survival.

It will not be possible to save at any time. This requires special monuments located at the beginning of the location and sometimes in several more places. Be prepared that you will have to regularly walk back and forth through the level to protect yourself before the next battle. Alternatively, you can store a considerable amount of teleportation scrolls in the city and save there. But this option is not available in all places.

The game begins with the fact that your hero or heroine, depending on the choice, goes out for a night walk, taking with him a solid amount of gold coins. Due to not the wisest act, he becomes a victim of a gang of robbers, gets a club on the head and loses all valuables. He could have lost his life, but then the guard intervenes, the frightened robbers run away. And the patrol accompanies you to the nearest tavern called Elven Song. There the hero is helped.

The hero cannot forgive the villains for their vile attack and decides to find the offenders in order to take revenge and return the stolen property. It turns out that for this you will have to explore the sewers under the city and even deeper dungeons. Periodically, after passing through the next location, you again return to the tavern. At the first levels, this institution becomes something like a temporary headquarters.

During the course of the investigation, the hero becomes involved in an even more serious matter, which you will learn more about when you play Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

To pass, you will need more powerful weapons and armor, all of which you can purchase from merchants. But at the first levels, you don't get many valuables for defeating enemies. Try to save.

When you level up, you choose which skill to upgrade.

Levels are not too complicated, basically you need to exterminate all the enemies and deal with the boss. Don't try to attack the boss directly. The best tactic is to dodge his attacks and in between while his skills are on cooldown, hit yourself.
