Darkest Dungeon 2 is the continuation of the famous and incredibly successful RPG game. In the game you will see the usual gloomy hand-drawn 2d graphics. Each new view or landscape is a masterpiece. There is nothing similar in the world, in this case the graphics have become even more unique in comparison with the first part. Music and voice acting help create an indescribable atmosphere.
You will travel through a world afflicted with filth. Gloomy landscapes of decay are everywhere. Your team will have a very dangerous journey on a stagecoach in an attempt to stop the death of the world.

The game is still extremely difficult. Any wrong decision leads to the death of the team. But even if you fail, this will allow you to get more resources in the next attempt and go further.
During the trip, you will need to pass five regions. Each of these regions has its inhabitants and enemies. You will have to rack your brains choosing the most effective strategy.
The path is extremely dangerous, but there will be short breaks in the taverns. This time can be spent on upgrades and a short rest for the heroes.
Your team consists of very different characters. Overcoming difficulties together, they can become best friends, or vice versa, they will quarrel and annoy each other. Team relationships have a huge impact on the battlefield. Characters who can hardly tolerate each other fight much less effectively. Excessive stress can ruin relationships in any company. Keep an eye on this parameter and try to find a balance between having fun for the fighters and preparing for new challenges.
The combat system is turn-based, enemies and your fighters take turns. Choose the type of attack or use other fighter talents. For example, you can strengthen the squad, or weaken the enemies.
The most serious enemy is always with you everywhere. During the game, you will have to defeat five of your weaknesses.
Before each new challenge, you will have the opportunity to slightly change your strategy and tactics to better suit the task ahead.
Separately, it is worth noting the music that perfectly complements the game world. This is not surprising, since Stuart Chatwood handled the music and the Power Up Audio team worked on the sound effects. The story is voiced by professional actor Wayne June.
The project is still available in the early access stage. But there are no serious shortcomings now, and with the release of the final version, even more adventures will appear, minor shortcomings will be corrected.
Playing Darkest Dungeon 2 is more interesting, and what is happening is more understandable if you are already familiar with the first part. But if not, don't worry, that's another story. A little tutorial at the beginning will show you all the features of the game.
