Against the backdrop of such gloomy forecasts, books, films, and later games in the post-apocalypse genre began to appear en masse, in which there are different options for the development of events, but each time they carry a warning to this world. One of the most popular scenarios revolves around the appearance of zombies, or as they are also called, the living dead. They spread their influence by infecting more and more people, and the few survivors try to stop the danger.
Among the most prominent representatives of this genre is a series of games called Zombie Mission. According to the scenario, people were faced not just with the threat of the spread of infection, but with a well-organized army. In this case, the monsters have not lost the ability to think; moreover, they are constantly evolving and adapting to new conditions, which means it becomes many times more difficult to fight them.
The main characters will be brother and sister; they managed to avoid infection and assess all the risks in time, so their team is able to successfully eliminate the mutants. Since you will have two main characters, you will have the choice to control them in turns or invite a friend and share control of the characters with him. Your heroes must not only fight zombies, clearing cities of their presence, but also interfere with their plans for expansion. Since this type of monster is highly developed, they often manage to capture important information about military and civilian infrastructure. This allows them to coordinate their actions and strike more effectively. That is why the guys will have the task of confiscating the storage media that the dead managed to obtain. These will be yellow floppy disks and at each level you need to find them all, only after that the passage further will open. Quite often you will have to solve simple puzzles to unlock transitions between floors or rooms. Each of the Zombie Mission heroes will have their own unique abilities, and only joining forces can bring results. Quite often you will have to fight your way through, in such cases it is extremely important to monitor the characters’ health level and replenish it in time with the help of red flasks.
In Zombie Mission, different cities, abandoned industrial complexes and even fairy-tale worlds await you, and everywhere you will need to free the surviving people and deal with enemies. Remember that only coordinated actions and team play can lead you to victory and completion of an incredibly important mission.
