They were accused of complicity with bank robbers. Allegedly, the witness saw how the bandits were at the farm, which means that its owners were accomplices. The heroes immediately understood where the wind was blowing from, most likely the false information was given by their neighbor, who has long wanted to chop off part of the earth.
