Extraordinary events that could happen to us in childhood often leave their imprint on all subsequent life. Unpleasant incidents have negative consequences, which is what happened with the hero of the story Mysterious River. Once, as a boy, Christopher played on the river bank. An unknown force made him jump into the water and dragged along the stream. The guy was saved only by his ability to swim well and perseverance in the struggle for life. But since then he has bypassed the river and was afraid of water. This depressed him and today he decided to put an end to his fears and find out what happened on that fateful day.
