The poor fellow was kidnapped and you should not just find him, which is not at all difficult in Rescue the Chick. The main task is to open the cage behind which the bird is languishing. This will take some time, but you will probably succeed and quickly enough. You will solve all the puzzles, collect and use the items you find, open all the secondary locks to find the key that is needed in Rescue the Chick.
