The hero's task is to pass the level to the finish line and it doesn't matter how he gets there: on foot, running, with a kick from a special design with a boot, with a kick from a boxing glove or a push from a rotating cruciform device. And this is only a small fraction of what the character has to endure. There are still a lot of interesting devices ahead that you will activate to push the hero, even on all fours, but he will cross the finish line and find himself on a new level in Poor Eddie.
