Huge eyes, long fluffy tail are their distinctive features. If the great apes got to the island, we might not have found living lemurs. But now in many zoos you will find these cute animals, dexterously climbing trees and devouring vegetation. Lemurs are nocturnal animals, which is why they have big eyes. And the tail plays an important role, it serves as an additional limb for them, with which they can cling to branches and hang.
