Having reached the wall, there is no need to stop; the hero can move further, vertically and even upside down, regardless of gravity. The task is to get to the flag. If you are accustomed to moving horizontally, then vertical movements will cause you inconvenience, since you will begin to get confused in controlling the arrow keys.
